Work in Canada compared the costs of erecting support systems.  The dollar amounts are in Canadian dollars. Therefore, focus on the cost relationship of the systems rather then the individual dollar amount.  

The data on the trellis systems were taken in rows of 500 foot spans. The data on the Slender Spindle on the other hand is based on 1 acre of land. It is difficult to compare Slender Spindle with the other system because the data was taken on a different scale.  Of the other three systems, the least expensive support system is the 6 foot trellis, the Vertical Axis comes in second, and the most expensive is the Tatura system.
