Chromated Copper Arsenate, also known as CCA,  treated wood is best for trellis construction.  Creosote,  and Pentachlorophenol, or PCP treated wood may cause damage to the root stocks.  Ammoniacal copper arsenate, or ACA causes corrosion of trellis wire.
